This guide will walk you through the process of editing a risk in your environment.
β
STEP ONE:
Sign into your Cloud Access Monitor instance.
STEP TWO:
Select the Admin button on the left pull out menu.
STEP THREE:
Under Data Management, select the Risk link.
STEP FOUR:
Select the edit pen on any risk you want to edit.
STEP FIVE:
Edit your risk.
Title: A name for your risk, try to give risks a meaningful name, as it is what will be displayed on the Risks Tab in the product.
Description: A description of the risk you are creating.
Status: Enabled / Disabled. Disabled risks will not be displayed on the Risks Tab in the Product.
SaaS Connected With This Risk: Select which environments to apply this risk to, for instance if you have two tiles one for staff and one for students, you can only apply specific risks to each tile.
Keywords: A comma separated list of strings that pertain to your risk, these will be what are flagged in emails and documents moving forward. Best used for finding distinct words or strings.
Risk Regex: A regex of a specific risk pattern you would like to look for. Best used for finding patterns such as student id numbers, or personal information.
(NEW)Allowed Words: A comma separated list of strings that should not flag for your risk, these will be what are flagged in emails and documents moving forward. Best used to avoid finding specific strings.
(ex. Dick, versus Moby Dick)
(NEW)Allowed Regex: A regex of a specific risk pattern you would not like to flag for your risk. Best used to avoid finding partials in things like URLs.
Choose File: Upload a file of risks rather than entering them into the keyword box. Formatting should be identical to manually entry with different keywords or strings being separated by a comma.
Risk Matches Count: The total number of keywords required in a document or email to trigger the risk. For instance profanity will flag by default after 3 or more profane words are found in an object.
Context: Contextual words needed to be in proximity of keywords. For instance when looking for Social Security Numbers, we look for "SSN, SS#, Social Security, etc" in front of the string of numbers to help us eliminate false positives.
Context Check Length: The number of chars from a context word to check for keywords, this check length counts from both the beginning backwards, and the end forwards on any context word.
STEP SIX:
β
Save your risk.
Newly saved risks will begin scanning instantly for all new / modified documents and emails. The risk will be displayed in the "Risk" tab inside your environment.
