Customize - Adding a New User

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a new user in the console.

Note: A User Must Be Assigned A Role Before They can Access the Platform.

STEP ONE:

Sign into your Cloud Access Monitor instance.


STEP TWO:

Select the Admin button on the waffle menu.


STEP THREE:

Select the Users link under Access Management.


STEP FOUR:

Select the + sign in the top right of the page.


STEP FIVE:

Add the User, the required fields are shown below.

  • Username: The login name for the user.

  • Password: The password for the user.

  • Email: The users email address.

  • Name: The full name of the user for the account.

  • Enforce Google Sign On: Username and password are randomly generated but not provided to the user.

NOTE: Using a Gmail account as the email will enable google SSO.

STEP SIX:

Select the Save Button on the bottom of the page.
