Risk - Fields Allowed "Keywords" and "Regex"

This page will walk you through the new Risk scanning parameters around "Allowed words" and "Allowed regex".


HIGH LEVEL INFO:

There are various use cases that require unique risk conditions or tuning adjustments. Many keyword and regex driven risks are at the mercy of flagging partials. The two new risk fields "Allowed words" and "Allowed regex" will help avoid unwanted false positives.


STEP ONE:

Sign into your ManagedMethods platform.

STEP TWO:

Select the Admin button on the top waffle menu.


STEP THREE:

Under Data Management, select the Risk link.


STEP FOUR:

In the top right select the + icon to create a new risk.

Note: For existing risk select the far right Actions column edit Pencil icon.

STEP FIVE:

Review and edit the risk.

Tip: Tuning helps risk scans avoid flagging unwanted noise and allows admins to focus on actionable items.

  • Keywords: Dick

  • Flagging - "Moby Dick"

  • Allowed words: Moby Dick

  • Flagging Partials - Resolved

  • Keywords: Shoot

  • Flagging - "Shoot me a text"

  • Regex: Student ID

  • Flagging: Partials of long number or URL strings
