This page will walk you through the new Accounts Tab Google Workspace "Storage" feature and functionality.
HIGH LEVEL INFO:
There are many use cases that require an admin to monitor or understand how their users are managing storage space within the Google Workspace environment. This is becoming a greater concern as Google Workspace continues to limit storage space and quotas.
STEP ONE:
Sign into your ManagedMethods platform.
STEP TWO:
Navigate to the Audit & Control page, and select the Name of your desired Cloud Environment.
(Global Views will show all accounts in your domain, while filtered views will show only users for that view)
STEP THREE:
Navigate to the "Accounts" tab.
From the tabs summary section identify the new column called "Storage"
Storage: The total size of space an account is using within your Google Workspace environment.
(Tip: Use the column sort arrows to quickly indicate the user(s) taking up the most/least Google Workspace storage space.)
STEP FOUR:
Identify and click on a data point.
Storage Details: Indicates storage distribution per Google Workspace source on an individual user. Also identifies the storage space for your environment and how much this users is accounting for.
