STEP ONE:
Click the Arrow icon to show the Chat section. Click the Dropdown Arrow next to Announcements to select the Specific Student you want to send a Chat message.
STEP TWO:
Ensuring you have selected the correct student to send a Chat message. Select the Text Field and type your Message. When you have finished your message click Send to send the Chat message to the student.
STEP THREE:
Your sent Chat Message will appear in the Chat log to the student.
STEP FOUR:
The Chat Message to a student will appear as a browser notification.
STEP FIVE:
A student can send a Chat Message back. First they will need to click on the browser extension with the Shield and REC.
STEP SIX:
Clicking on the browser extension with the Shield and REC will show the Chat window.
STEP SEVEN:
The student can click into the Text Field and type their Chat message. Once finished they can press Send to send the Chat Message.
STEP EIGHT:
The Chat log will show the Chat message once sent.
STEP NINE:
New Chat messages from a student will appear as notification and appear in the Chat Log for that student.
