Why is a Known Trusted App Being Flagged as High or Critical Risk?

Updated over 3 months ago

The risk level on apps is based almost entirely on the access levels that is requires the user to accept when installing. For every level of access and permissions an app asks for, there is a high associated risk with allowing it. This does not mean the app is going to use these permissions maliciously and often times they are required for the app to function as intended. To investigate the level of access and permissions each app has you can click the blue downward facing arrow in the "Scope Categories" column.
