The Risks section provides admins with a central hub for creating and managing platform scanning definitions.
This guide covers the main sections of Policy Risks:
RISK SUMMARY
Risks allows administrators to define Keywords or Patterns that violate organizational policies. Risks can be applied at the root level or targeted to specific Organizational Units and Domains.

Search Risks | Search to quickly find existing risks. |
Risks List | Displays a complete list of defined risks. Clicking a risk in the list loads its configuration details into the View Risk panel on the right. |
Icon Key | Identifies detection method used for risk scan. |
Machine Learning | Risk scan based on advanced pattern and context detection. |
Keyword | Risk scan based on a specific word or phrase match. |
Regex | Risk scan based on a Regular Expression pattern match. |
Toggle(On/Off) | Enable to turn scan on. Disable to turn scan off. |
CREATING A NEW RISK
Select Target-
Use the top right dropdown to define risk for specific Organizational Unit or Group.
Configure Settings-
Click the Add(+) button next to All Risks to create a new risk. Update input fields to reflect desired risk scan definition.
Field / Feature | Description |
Name | Enter a descriptive name for the risk you are creating (e.g., "Confidential Data Alert," "Profanity"). |
Type | Select the method used to detect the risk: Keyword or Regex. |
Match Count | Specify the minimum number of times the keyword or pattern must appear within a single input or event to trigger a violation. Default is 1. |
Keywords | Enter the exact word or phrase(s) to be matched. |
Regex | Enter the complex Regular Expression pattern for advanced matching (e.g., credit card numbers, phone numbers). |
Context | Enter keywords that must be present near the matched keyword/regex for the risk to trigger. This helps reduce false positives. |
Context Match Length | Specify the maximum characters distance the Context input needs to be from the primary Keyword/Regex match. |
Click the Configure Notification button to set email alerts when risk definition gets violated.
Click the Delete button to remove the risk definition from the platform.
EDIT EXISTING RISK
Select Definition-
Search then Select any listed risk to review and revise definition inputs.
Click Save to apply all input values.
Click Cancel to discard all unsaved input values.
CONFIGURE RISK NOTIFICAITONS
The Configure Notification modal determines recipients, status and scheduling for alerts. Alerts are generated when a defined risk is triggered by Organizational Unit or Group user.
Field / Feature | Description |
Email(s) | Use + Add Email to enter addresses for anyone who should receive alerts when a risk is matched. |
Active | Toggle On to enable notifications based on the schedule outline. Toggle Off to disable notifications. |
Notify Immediately | Toggle On to send instant alert email every time a risk is detected. Toggle Off to batch alerts according to the schedule. |
Schedule Configuration-
Use the Schedule section to set days and times when notifications should be active.

Toggle | Set On or Off status to enable or disable risk alerting per day. |
Inherit From | Select a previous day to automatically apply its configuration settings. |
Alert Period | Define a Start and End time to set when alerts are active. |
Frequency | Dropdown options for setting Alert Period for batched notification report. |
Daily Specific Time | Alternative to Alert Period. Select specific time to generate batched notification report. |
Override | Select to modify configuration without affecting inherited day settings. |
