The Allow List (under Policy) lets you explicitly permit web access regardless of other filtering rules. You can allow individual Sites — optionally with path wildcards and a category — or allow whole content Categories. Allow-list entries can be scoped to a specific organizational unit.
What this guide covers
Before you begin: You need a Content Filter Admin role to manage the Allow List. Entries apply to the domain selected in the top bar. Reach this page from the top nav under Policy › Allow List.

Scoping by Organizational Unit
The selectors at the top right let you scope the Allow List to a specific Organizational Unit. Choose an organizational unit to view and manage the entries that apply to it; leave it at the default to work with the broader list.

The Sites Tab
The Sites tab lists the individual sites that are allowed. Use the Filter to search by site, and the toolbar to add, remove, or import entries. Each row shows the site, any Path Wildcards, and per-row edit and delete controls.

Adding a Site to the Allow List
Select Add Site to open the form. Enter the Site, optionally add one or more Path Wildcards, and optionally assign a Category, then select Add Site to save. The View supported formats. link explains the accepted entry formats.

The Categories Tab
The Categories tab lets you allow entire content categories rather than individual sites. Use the Filter to search by category name and to limit the view with the Enabled and Legacy toggles. Each category row has a toggle to enable or disable it, plus controls to view details.
